Our Approach to Privacy

HallPass is a private, on-device travel-planning app. It has no accounts and no servers. Every place, trip and itinerary you create stays on your device. We — the developers — never receive or have access to your data.

Information Stored in the App

All content you create in HallPass is stored locally on your device. This may include:

• Saved places (pins) — names, descriptions, categories, coordinates and notes.
• Trips and itineraries — day-by-day plans, dates and stops.
• Estimated and actual costs you record for places and trips.
• Photos you add to places or trips from your photo library.

What We Do Not Collect

HallPass does not collect or transmit personal information. The app does not:

• Require an account, email address or login.
• Send your places or trips to any server.
• Use analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs.
• Track you across other apps or websites.

Maps and Location

HallPass uses Apple Maps to display maps and to search for addresses. When you search for a place or view a map, those requests are handled by Apple's mapping service under Apple's privacy policy. If you grant location access, HallPass uses your location only to show your position on the map and to help you find nearby places — your location is not recorded or sent to us.

Device Permissions

HallPass may ask for the following permissions, each only when needed:

• Location (While Using the App) — to show where you are on the map and find nearby places.
• Photo Library — to let you add photos to your places and trips.

Sharing Trips

HallPass lets you export a trip and share it yourself — as a file or link — using your device's standard share sheet. This only happens when you choose to do it, and the data goes wherever you send it. HallPass does not share your data automatically or with us.

Children's Privacy

HallPass is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@grabhamdigital.com.au and we will remove it.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data lives only on your device. You can delete any place or trip within the app at any time, and deleting the app removes all HallPass data from your device permanently. We hold no copy of your data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected within the app or on this website. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
